This is the Basic Minion Pattern. All the costumes and accessories will be built around this Naked Minion.

Hook: 3.50
Yarn: Red Heart

sc = single crochet
slst = slip stitch
st = stitch
sp = same space
dec = decrease

Legs
Yellow Yarn
Create a magic ring (or however you start a 6 sc in a loop).
Row 1: 6 sc in ring. slst to first sc.
Row 2: ch 1, sc 2 in each sc around. Join with slst to first sc.
Row 3-6: ch 1, *sc 1,* Repeat from * to *. slst to first sc.

Make 2. The first leg fasten off.
Second leg, do not fast off.

Body
Row 7: ch 2, slst into first leg (to join the legs), ch 2, sc ss, sc 1 in each space including the ch 2 space connection the legs.
Row 8: ch 2, sc ss, sc 6, 2 sc ss, sc 7, 2 sc ss, sc 7, 2 sc ss, slst into the ch 2.
From this point forward stuff as you go.
Row 9 – 32: ch 2, sc ss, sc 1 each sp around. slst into the ch 2 sp.
Row 33: ch 2, sc ss, *sc 2, 1 dc,* slst into the ch 2 sp.
Row 34: ch 2, sc ss, *sc 1, 1 dc,* slst into the ch 2 sp.
Row 35-36: ch 2, sc ss, *1 dc,* slst into the ch 2 sp.
Fasten off weave tail

Arms
Black yarn unless otherwise noted.
Create a magic ring (or however you start a 6 sc in a loop).
Row 1: 6 sc in ring. slst to first sc.
Row 2: ch 1, sc ss, sc 2 in each sc around, join with slst to first sc.
Row 3: ch 1, sc ss, *sc 1,* Repeat from * to *. slst to first sc.
Row 4: ch 1, sc ss, *sc 1, dec 1,* join with slst to first sc.
Switch to black yarn unless otherwise noted.
Row 5: back loops only, ch 1, sc ss, *sc 1,* join with slst to first sc.
Row 6-12: ch 1, sc ss, *sc 1,* slst into ch 1, join with slst to first sc.

Go back to row 5. Slst into any space, ch 1, sc 2 in each sp around. Join with slst into ch 1. Fasten off. Weave end.
Stuff – Make 2

This is an arm – yes it looks like a penis

Yes, the naked minion has arms that look like a penis.

Band
Black yarn
Row 1: ch 45, slst to create loop – do Not twist. Make sure it fits the minion. Adjust accordingly.
Row 2: ch 1, sc each back loop of ch, to join slst into ch 1.
(If you do not know how to sc in the back loop of the ch, don’t sweat it, just sc in each ch)
Row 3: ch 1, sc each sp. to join slst into ch 1.
Fasten off weave ends.

Eye
Row 1: black yarn, 6 sc in ring. slst to first sc.
Row 2: white yarn, ch 1, sc ss, sc 2 in each sc around, join with slst into ch 1.
Row 3: silver yarn, ch 1, 2 sc next sp, sc 1, *sc 2 ss, sc 1* repeat * to *, join with slst into ch 1.
Fasten off. Weave ends.

Assemble
Attach arms – best to guesstimate, but make sure each arm is even to the other.
Attach the eye to the band and fit over head.
