How to Crochet an Angel – Easy Angel Crochet Pattern – My First Crochet Angel Pattern

Easy Angel Crochet Pattern for beginners.

Once you can make this Easy Angel Crochet Pattern you can move on to more difficult patterns with ease.

You can use very thin crochet thread or heavy yarn, I have even used embroidery floss, the pattern is the same regardless only the hook size changes.

The featured image was created with Loin Brand Yarns – Wool-Easy – it’s glittery. However, the glittery yarn is nearly impossible to photograph so I created the tutorial angel with Sugar & Cream dishrag yarn.

Legend Key:
** = repeat whatever is in between the stars all the way around
ch = chain (always counts as first single crochet)
sc = single crochet
hdc = half double crochet
dc = double crochet
scinc = increase single crochet (a.k.a single crochet twice in one space)
scdec = decrease single crochet (a.k.a make 2 sc into 1 sc – don’t worry there’s a picture)
space = the space from the row below it

Attached the wings to the body with a little yarn.

Used a wee bit of wire for the halo.

I typically starch the angels with a little bit of paint on or spray on starch, with this one it wasn’t necessary because it could stand on it’s own.
